The Leonite - Potassium Fertiliser's investment .
The
raw material necessity of such an outstanding investment
like this has been considered as the most important
aspect by our Company since the very beginning of
our master plan.
At Lake Acigol in Afyon and specially at Lake
Tersakan in Konya Alkim completed lake operation
systems - new ponds - in order to
produce Leonite ( the double salt of Potassium
Sulphate and Magnesium Sulphate ).
Alkim is realizing its raw sodium sulphate and raw
sodium chloride production by the natural processes.
The natural raw sodium sulphate is dehydrated in our
production facilities. The production of Leonite ( K2SO4.MgSO4.4.H2O ) will be included to this production
chain and as a result, we will have a great advantage
in the production of Potassium Sulphate. The current production capacity
of Leonite is 400 tons / month.
In 2009 Alkim has received the
official licence and production permit for
fertilizer manufacturing, and also the "
Organic Fertilizer Certificate ".
